Week before Halloween

This week was really great for us as Brayden is old enough to appreciate the holiday. Last week for Family home evening, I made a ghost cake--Brayden was properly impressed by my efforts, as he had never seen a ghost cake before :)

Taylor was kind enough to have Owen over for an evening while mom was out with some friends. Our kids were already in their PJs, so Brayden was extremely pleased that he was having a real Pajama party.

Brayden had a Halloween carnival at school, complete with cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn, carnival games, and prizes. He is especially proud of his balloon hat, made by a real clown.

The mail box this week held a letter addressed to Brayden and Kylee!! The coolest part was Brayden knew it was for him before I even sorted the pile of mail--he read his name and address right off the envelope. Brayden LOVES mail. He has an ad in his room form several weeks ago address to the Dickerson Family (since he is part of the Dickerson Family, he considers it as good as addressed to him). Thank you Grandma and Grandpa! We miss you.

The outside of the house is completely painted!! That was the 3 month project.

Saturday was our ward Halloween party. Kylee and I both dressed up as Wonder Woman. Althought she makes the cutier Wonder Woman, I must say we are quite a pair. Brayden was Superman and Taylor was Zoro. However, Brayden affectionately calls him Zoram.

Jasmine, you made those costumes? You are amazing. You look great as wonder woman. I mean Hot! I think you provide definite competition with Kylee. I hope I look like you after having two kids. What is your secret? Glad you finished painting your house. What a relief!
