Friday night was the ward valentine party/kareoke night. I didn't sing, but I did win a prize for my presentation of the Thriller dance made famous by Michael Jackson. Too bad I didn't bring my camera that night.
Saturday night, we went to dinner with some friends and had a great time. We came back to find that Kylee had convinced the babysitter to get her out of bed and let her veg on the couch. It was really cute.
Last week we enjoyed some snow and freezing temperatures. Then on Monday, it got to 82 degrees. We took advantage of the sunshine and visited the park. My friend Jodi and I went down the "big" slide. That thing is steep!
I had the kids wait until Taylor was home during the day to build a snowman.
Most of the snow had melted.
Miss Independent.
Brave Jodi with her son Owen.
Kylee and Owen sittin' in a bug. Next you know, they're in love. Just kidding.
Although I wouldn't object.
David, Alex, Courtney, Amy, the party planners.
Taylor and David having just as much fun as the kids.
Alright, I must admit I went down a few slides myself.
(Most of the times I took a kid as an excuse.)
Waiting for birthday cake.
You wouldn't know it by this picture, but this is Kylee being removed from the festivities due to an attitude problem that ended with birthday cake on the ground.
Courtney and Alex, the birthday twins.
Brayen with Alex. . .
Brayden with Courtney's crown.
Kylee with her sitter, Sister George.
We are so thankful for Sister George!

I finally got my password and login information sorted out, so I'm able to "blog" again. I love how you put things together. It's so fun to see what the kids are up to. But it's also a shame that I live as close as I do and I miss so much of your lives. Maybe life will slow down one of these days and I can be a better grandpa.
I love you all so much. Thanks for blogging.
That is the CUTEST picture of Sister George! Oh I just loved it! And I must admit I missed the 'Thriller' act. I am VERY sad! But I am ready for a more comfortable singing party, so when you are ready, head our way but be ready to sing your heart out!
You have such cute kids that sometimes I want to hate you. Mostly it's because I'm terrified that mine won't measure up.
