Another beginning
We have begun packing. It started with Taylor getting everything down from the attic and us sorting through it, getting rid of a lot of stuff, packing it, and putting it back in the attic. I have been to Goodwill 5 times (I have a small trunk, so it's not like I've been taking a truck load each time). They know me there now. We've donated, clothes, shoes, holiday decorations, books, small furniture, toys, kitchen items, electronic items, and on and on. Where did all this stuff come from?
I once teased my mom about keeping tupperware-type companies in business. After going through our attic, I have to say, I think we are significant contributor ourselves.
I let Kylee open my 2000 barbie. Don't be mad mom. And don't rub it in when it's worth a small fortune and I can't sell it because it is covered in kid boogers, is wearing a swim suit, and has a new hair cut. :)
This was the first real good-by so far. The Parents as Teachers program is really big here. The pubic schools offer a service where an educator comes to your home once a month and gives you ideas on helping your 0-3 child develop their senses and minds. They suggest age appropriate activities and games and often catch problems, if they exist, early. Jamie Peer has been coming to our home every month since we first moved here (except for summers) first for Brayden and then for Kylee. We will miss you Jamie!
