The week in review

Today was my last really big responsibility as Stake Primary President. Riverside had their primary program and my whole presidency was able to attend. I then taught sharing time (I will post the sharing time under the church stuff blog). I haven't been released, and there are still a few small ends to wrap up, but it is a nice feeling that there isn't anything huge calling-wise on the horizon. When I go to church next (after conference) it will have been 5 Sundays since the last time I was able to go to my own ward (meaning 4 Sundays in a row gone).

On Friday night, Taylor had his last camp out with the scouts. Josh Bingham also went, so Jacque and I hung out at her place, got pizza, talked, watched a movie and let the kids play. I forgot my camera, thus the picture of the pizza box taken after I got home. We are going to miss the Binghams. Jacque is serving as the secretary in the primary presidency and has been awesome!

Brayden was the star student this week. His teacher, Mrs. Timmons switched his week so he could be the star before we moved. He got to do things like be the teacher during weather/temperature/calendar time and be in the front of the line. (In the picture is a student teach, not Mrs. Timmons)
As part of being star student, he takes the class mascot Leroy the Lion for the weekend. He has to take pictures with Leroy and write a journal page. It just so happens that Brayden had a gift certificate to a local toy store (ahem, from his birthday in July) so we took Leroy to pick some toys. Later in the afternoon, he went to a birthday party for a girl in his school class, Laney.

After Laney's party, both kids went to Andrew Winter's party. The theme was Wallie and it was a great party. This is Kylee waiting for the Wallie pinata to break. (She had Cheeto's earlier)

Owen, Andrew (the birthday boy!), Lily, Kylee, Emily

Brayden happy about his pinata loot.

Hi Jasmine!
Um, so I've been out of the loop! I usually check your blog once a week, but I missed a few and now you're moving!!! Holy cow! Very exciting! I'm thrilled because you'll be a little closer to us (and hey, I know you're DYING to come to Disneyland- it's in your blood). Good luck with everything!
