Halloween party

The neighborhood had a Halloween party on Friday. The flier asked everyone to bring a desert or an appetizer to share.

Mom and Tinker Bell.

Brayden loved the trampoline in the backyard.

Dad's turn with Tink.

I feel I should mention how difficult it is for me to go to party like this when I arrive and literally can't remember a single person by name (other than my own family, of course). Valerie came later-- she has seven kids and brought us dinner the second night we were here, so I can't claim complete loneliness. As always, the people were friendly and a we talked with several families--I think I had met some before, but they were all in costumes. . . although I don't know if I would have remembered their names anyway. I guess I'm pretty "home stick."
