This week

Packing and lifts take a toll on the back. Here Taylor is using Brayden in a physical therapy exercise.

Most of our kitchen stuff was packed, so I made spaghetii sauce in a pan with a lid that was too small. I guess if you put a lid on while the sauce is hot and then let it cool, it creates a vacuum. It took us several minutes to get the lid off again.

The kitchen before movers.

Taylor disassembling the table.

The kitchen after the movers. John and Steven cam on Friday and empited the house. We kept some clothes and our computer. (I'm still going to try and get a few hours of work in this week, so I needed it.) We are going to cram it all into the Lancer and head to New Mexico on Wednesday after we close on the house. It's about a 12-13 hour drive. I'm not excited for the road trip.

Sister George has loaned us plenty of toys to keep the kids busy, as well as a TV and bedding to put on the air mattress we borrowed from the Hawkins. Add in the pack n play we borrowed from the Binghams and we have a pretty sweet set-up.

This is the role of butcher paper that the McDormans let us use for packing. I show this picture to mention that Kylee has filled the tube with grapes.
She also took the end of the dental floss out of the case and ran around the house with it while the case was trailing behind her, effectively wasting yards of dental floss.
What are we going to do with this girl? Just today Taylor caught her squirting lemon juice for fun. We were in trouble the day she learned to open the fridge.

We have quickly learned that it is a good thing that we typically still strap her into a booster seat at dinner. Tonight the Hawkins had us over for a yummy dinner and Kylee spent most of the time in the other room. We saved her plate for her, though, and would not let her have anything else until she ate some dinner. She ended up eating the apples and one piece of French bread (it was a crouton by the time she got around to it.)

This is SO sad to see! I can't believe how bare everything looks. I had no idea that that could happen with a lid to small for pan- but it looked pretty funny. I especially love the pictures of Brayden and Taylor practicing their exercises. I bet Brayden loved it!
