Our neighborhood Christmas gift this year was "Snowman soup." Mugs with hot chocolate, marshmallows, Hershey kisses, mints, and candy canes. I got the idea online and succeeded in not baking for the neighbors for yet another year.

Brayden's kindergarten had a "Christmas" program called "The Big Chill." He was a great performer. They did not sing any traditional songs or any religious songs. It was a little sad to not at least hear "Frosty the Snowman" or something of that sort.

Saturday was our ward party-a progressive dinner. We had the appetizer course. As I was preparing, the mail carrier dropped off a package which happened to be chocolate covered pretzles from Grandma and Grandpa. They made a great addition. We had a fun time and the left overs made a yummy Sunday lunch.

Taylor's work Christmas party was on Friday night. They told us about it on Wednesday. This is truly the land of manana, meaning everyone waits until tomorrow (manana) to get anything done.
Brayden has made his own Christmas Calendar and is always telling us how many more days until Christmas.
I taught Sunday School today, but found out I was teaching last night (again, land of manana) I think it went OK. Somehow, someone skipped a lesson during the year, so I got to talk about Christmas and I'll be teaching the last lesson next week.

We hope you have a Merry Christmas. You've been on Owen's mind a lot this week and he even asked when Jasmine was coming home. Have a lovely week!
Wow, I bet it is nice for them to have someone who doesn't try to dodge (you).
