Another week.

This week was a busy one, I didn't take any pictures. The only ones I have are from Taylor's phone.

For FHE, we took the kids to McDonalds for the activity and treat. They loved it and are already asking when we can go back again. Kylee started swim lessons during the week because she was moved up from the "mommy and me" class level to the "Froggies" swim level and they don't offer Froggies on Saturday. In this one, the parents sit on the side of the pool with their feet in the water, but don't actually get in. Kylee loved it.

Brayden's school does an Enrichment program once a week after school. We signed him up for Basketball for K-2 grade. No games or anything, they just get together and play and practice once a week. It was a lottery to see who got to sign up for which class first and our number was the second drawn, so we was able to sign up even though the class fills quickly. It makes me feel a little better about not signing him up for soccer. Apparently, soccer games start the first week of Feb. here and I was a little late signing him up.

Now that I'm not working, I have time to do the family shopping with Taylor (he has been the self-appointed family grocery shopper for the last several years.) We took Kylee with us while Brayden was at school. This weekeend we had a babysitter on Friday (our first date alone since we've been here) had the Randolfs over on Saturday (they are new in the ward), and had dinner with the Blairs and Parks on Sunday. I'm starting to have hope that living here won't be complete torture.

I'm glad your life is moving one step up from complete torture. :) Hang in there!
I love the picture of you and Kylee at Wal-Mart. She looks so sweet and cuddly. My kids are way too big to be held like that anymore, and I miss it.

You aren't working? How is that? I'm so glad your settling in and it's not torture anymore.

It is always an adjustment moving to a new place. Each time we move it takes me a year to realize that everyone is NOT crazy. I am glad the kids are settling in with activities, too. At least you don't have ice storms, tornadoes, wild fires or oil tanks exlploding nearby now!
