We are planning a family cruise the week after school gets out. Last Sunday, I realized that Kylee has to be potty trained before she can swim in any of the pools. Trying to tell Kylee that she can't swim when everyone else is would be a nightmare.
Now, keep in mind, after potty training Brayden, I swore that my second child was going to have to beg me to go on the potty before I started training.
We have been at it for almost one week and it is going surprisingly well. We skipped all the stuff that didn't work with Brayden and cut to the chase. The first two days she wore panties--and hated it. On day three I let her wear pull ups and she is keeping them dry. Today she even woke up from her nap dry.
The other incentive is presents. We tried every form of bribery with Brayden, but the only thing that worked was when we wrapped the treats and small gifts so he didn't know what they were. "Potty Presents" have also done the trick with Kylee. She has earned bouncy balls, slinkies, necklaces, and other "party favor" toys along with candy.
Crusie pools--here we come!

Potty training isn't fun. Glad she is doing well. And lucky you all to be going on a cruise. I am super jealous!
