Taylor's pile of candles ...er... birthday cake. Every year he asks for the same cake, which is good for me because it's easy to make!

blow them out! He always manages to get them all out on the first try.On the night of Taylor's birthday, I make pot roast and potatoes, one of his favorites. He opened the cards from family and friends and I gave him a skeletool CX (which he requested).
On Friday, we had pizza and played games with friends and on Saturday we met some other couples at Texas Roadhouse and then went to see Wolverine. It was a crazy party weekend. Tomorrow we will pack for our cruise and head over to the neighbor's for a swim party.

What a cool cake--I'm guessing not from the Wilton handbook:) And why can't Brayden take a backpack to school on the last day? Silly string or worse? Hope you get some shade on that playground soon!
