For the Record. . .

I am finally ready to admit that there are some great things about Las Cruces.

By far, the best, is the weather. You can't beat the temperatures here and the rainy season comes in July and August, right when the heat would arrive. The air is dry, but not dry enough for my eczema to flair up (this happened all the time in Utah).
This is my visiting teaching appointment. One of the friends I teach lives in an apartment complex with a pool.

Ka'laya (I don't know how to spell her name, but this is how it sounds) and Kylee.

This summer Brayden discovered the life jacket. I have avoided it his whole life because I didn't want it to hinder his ability to learn to swim. Turns out, after last summer and his fear of the water, this was the best thing we could have done. Throw in the added bonus that I don't have to worry as much about him and I love it.

I am finally having sucess with girl's night. The first time I tried, one person came. The second time I tried, three people came (which was good). This time, we had twelve-plus me.
We had Candise, Penny, Dayna, Cassandra, Alejandra, Tammy, Kristi, Angie, Fransica (you can only see her arm), Becca, Valarie, and April. Wahoo! Next month the first book club is at my house. We'll see how it goes. . .

I made over 60 freezer meal chimichangas. I'll think we will be eating these for months.

Natalie, Kylee, and Taylor

Some friends of ours have a relative that lives in some condos with an exclusive pool. The pool is within walking distance from our house and we love it when they invite us to join them!

Trevor and Brayden.

Colin and Becca.

Twinners! Right down to the pregnant bellies.

Blessed pools, those saved me in Mississippi for play dates. You are a very cute pregnant mommy.
