We decided to try something new at our house. Brayden and Kylee are sleeping in the same room and all the toys are in one room. The hope is that the kids will play in the "toy" room rather than all over the house. The fear is the kids won't sleep as much and Brayden will wake Kylee up in the mornings. Why I decided to try this two weeks before a new baby arrives, I don't know.

So far so good.
Legos are the choice toy for now.

My friend Monica is helping me learn how to make hair bows. Jodi showed me how to do this parituclar one. Although I put them in upside down, I'd say it's pretty good for a beginner.



We have a system that allows the kids to earn an allowance of 1-2 dollars each week. They have been saving up and finally took thier earnings to the store. Kylee got a princess tea set and Brayden some walkie talkies.


Brayden never really watched movies, but Kylee is a movie-aholic. Her favorites are Finding Nemo and Toy Story 2 (because there is a girl cowboy). She even dances in front of the TV when Jessie sings that sad song about the girl who used to love her. It seems most kids find that part boring.
