Our ward had a Trunk or Treat activity, which I was able to go to thanks to my wonderful sister, Megan. She stayed home with Mikayla.

The toothfairy and the bumblebee. Jodi and I agreed to each make skirts out of tulle. Too bad you can't see them in this picture. As prepared as I was, I accidentally left my wings at home.

Haylee and Josh made these awesome Indian costumes. Josh served his mission in Arizona and had a few items from his time there, but they made most of these costumes-wow!
Taylor is a cowboy. He is wearing an OU cowboy shirt under his jacket.

Comparing candy.
On Halloween, we carved our pumpkins! I really have to give credit to Taylor for this because if it was up to me, there would be no pumpkin carving. He took the kids to buy their pumpkins and helped them clean them out. He even saved the pumpkin carving tools from last year.

Megan took a stab at the back of Taylor's pumpkin. It turned out really cute.

And Brayden carved his all on his own.

The finished product.

Bat-Brayden looked great in his costume. I bought the mask and made the shirt, belt and cape.

Kylee was going to be Tinkerbell until the last minute. Then she decided she wanted to be a bad guy like Brayden. She ended up choosing Brayden's old ghost costume over Scooby-Doo dressed as dracula and a really cute frog (I was voting for the frog). Megan had even brought a white beanie which completed the outfit.
Without any coaching, Kylee took to wiggling her fingers, stopping her feet a "oooooh"-ing anyone who would hold still long enough. She even did it at all the houses during trick-or-treating.

Taylor took the kids to meet thier friends before the Trick-or-treating began.

Taylor and Jodi got a head start--their kids had shorter legs. She made these costumes--again, wow.

On the run.

After two nights of trick-or-treating, I'd say we did pretty well. Haylee and Josh came by and took Brayden out for a second run. Megan and I stayed home and handed out candy. Surprisingly, we didn't even get our first trick or treater until after 6:30 and there didn't seem to be a large croud. Once the kids were in bed, we watched Coraline--creepy, but not too creepy.
