The tooth

I signed Brayden up for Basketball this season at a local church that stresses every player having a good time. In order to insure fair teams, they have the kids do an evaluation before the season and then a computer assigns the teams based on the results of the evaluations.

When Brayden went to the evaluation, a ball hit him in the mouth and he chipped is front permanent tooth. Over $600.00 (insurance denied, it is currently in appeal) and several discussions later, Brayden has chosen to wait until next year to start basketball. The league said they would look into getting the sign-up fees refunded, but that was two weeks ago. It's the most expensive season of basketball my son never played. And to top it off, I don't have a picture of the chipped tooth! This is right after the repair. You would never know.

Brayden, when you get older and read this-- we love you! You are totally worth it.
