On Saturday, May 7th, we had the chance to take a ride on the Bartlesville Oil Flyer.
The kids got to blow the whistle of Engine 940, which hasn't been blown in over 50 years while the locomotive stood in a park as an historic reminder.

Brayden loved watching the scenery.
And climbing the trees after the ride.
Of course, a Saturday outing is better with a cold treat!
We tried to fly kites, but there was absolutely no wind--which is really unusual for us. Brayden did manage to get a kite up by running the whole time. What determination!
