Cruising Alaska, Day 4

Today was Skagway day. It was so fun to get off the boat and remember being here before. The weather was amazing.

The meeting place today was Shelly/Lauren/Kenzie/Kylee's room. We shuttled to town, changed buses, and headed to a panning for gold/sled dog experience. The guys that taught us how to pan for gold was from Orem, UT. The Dickersons panned $33.00 worth of gold!

We then got a short lesson about sled dogs and sledding and got to meet the dogs and watch them do a warm weather run. Pretty awesome.

Taylor and I went back to the boat and picked them up to eat lunch and do a little swimming. After they got cold (really quickly) we took them back to camp and the two of us headed back to town for some souvenir shopping.

That evening we met back up with our group for dinner and another comedian--who was really funny.  The Chilkoot and Chilkout mounts were clear this afternoon (weather wise) which is pretty rare.  So, of course Taylor couldn't stand to be inside.  I played games with the family and then Taylor went to pick up the kids and we all headed to bed late again.
