Halloween week

Monday night we went to Hallozooween with the kids. The zoo was decked out with ghosts and pumpkins and lots of trick-or-treating.

Tuesday was pumpkin carving and then Wednesday, was of course, trick-or-treating. Taylor has a friend from work with twins. They came and went out with the kids while I got to hand out the candy, which was great. Brayden also had a Halloween party at school on Wednesday.

Thursday night, a friend of mine had a baby shower and I made a cake.

It was a festive week!

Kyleed loved the characters at the Zoo.
She looked at each one like a giant stuffed animal to hug. And She usually did.

Brayden coming out of the fun house at Hallowzooween

Kylee's hair mouse is yogurt. She put it in her hair on purpose and laughed about it.

Taylor did the pumpkin de-gutting.

The finished product

The pumpkin craft (Lane, Makaila, Brayden, Lanie) for Brayden's school party.
Hurry up and get home, dad! We want to trick-or-treat!

The loot

Baby shower cake. Fondant is always a hit.

Kylee and Brayden figured out that their magnetic blocks "stick" to the curtain on the fireplace.

Haylee and Josh came over for dinner on Sunday. We didn't get Brayden a chair and instead of whining, he went a got one himself. My baby is growing up!

You are amazing. I would never dream of making a cake that turned out like that. Strong work!
