Mixed-up post

This is a crazy post. I am doing it from my dad's mac. Macs are great, they do all sorts of great things. I grew up with these computers. In fact, in the room I am sitting in right now, there are at least four Macintosh computers. However, if you haven't used one in a while, they are extremely confusing. As you may have figured out by now, I limit the time I spend on my blog by posting only on Sunday nights and not doing anything too fancy. Because of this, I do not have the patience to figure out how to move the pictures around in my post, or rotate the pictures. I'm sorry for the confusion; the pictures are not in order and some are sideways.

I am missing the fire station pictures from Wednesday's play group because a friend sent them to me in e-mail, and, again, I don't want to figure out how to get them on the blog. Maybe I'll do it next week from my home computer. We arrived in Utah on Friday night, ate at Sizzler, went to the doughnut shop on Saturday morning and visited with Taylor's family Saturday afternoon and evening. On Sunday evening, we went to my Grandparents for a Faber dinner. Everyone was there, which was fun. Now here are the dysfunctional photos. . .

Brayden with Allison's kids, Jeff, Brig, and Garrett
Aunt Jessica with Kylee and Ellie
Aunt Megan and Kylee.

Brayden perched atop a garbage can.
Kylee has stolen all the twix bars. Our kids have not been eating well this trip. They are quite happy about it.
Brayden with the whole Cheeto bag.
Mesmerized by the donut-making.

Brayden and mom at Krispy Kreme. I can't figure out how to rotate the picture, but is sure is cute.
Upon arriving in Utah, my mom wanted us to go out to eat at Sizzler because she had a coupon. (My mom LOVES coupons). She didn't join us, but it was fun to have everyone else together. Darren graduated from high school today. Mom and Dad promised to take him somewhere nice for his "real" graduation dinner this weekend.
My littlest sister Kenzie helping Brayden get a drink at the park.
My friend Monica made these cute flowers for Kylee's pig tales. She is the craftiest of the crafty. She also does vinyl lettering, check out her blog (the link is on the side of this blog).
After the fire station on Wednesday, we went swimming with Monica, Jacque, Jodi, and their kids. Thank heavens for Jodi. The water was very cold, so I didn't want to get in. Jodi was nice enough to help Brayden--notice how he is trying to keep completely out of the water by climbing up Jodi. Miles enjoys a bottle as he floats along.
I don't think Kylee ment to strike this pose, but it is just too classic not to share.
Here is the crawfish that joined us in our swimming adventure. The kids kept yelling "there's a lobster in the water!"

We started our Journey to Utah on Friday morning. We drove to Oklahoma City and had a lay-over, which makes for a really long day. I don't know that we will do that again, but now that we are here I am happy! On the first flight, the pilot was in a REALLY good mood, as you can tell from the above picture. He let Brayden wear his hat and even play with the joystick of the plane. Pretty cool.

Oh, and Brayden peed in a bottle on the plane (during landing, the flight attendant wouldn't let him use the bathroom). That's enough of that story.
Monday Morning started off early, with Taylor helping the Young Men raise money for the high-adventure trip at the annual Boy Scout Memorial Day pancake breakfast. He had to leave the house at 6:00 am.

Later in the afternoon, we went to the splash pad with the Binghams. Brayden loved it--what a change from last year!

Your new blog background looks so cute! It looks like you're having a great time in Utah! How exciting for your kids to have so many fun aunts and uncles.
You picked a great time to be gone...we've had 3 thunderstorms in 2 days since you left. Church even got cancelled after Sacrament Meeting today due to the power going out.
Have fun on the rest of your trip!

Mom didn't come to Sizzler because Lauren (Jasmine's 2nd to youngest sister) was having a surprise going away party for her friend at our house. I don't think the parents of 50 junior high students would have appreciated NO adult supervision!
