Taylor's Birthday

Brayden's last T-ball game was on Tuesday. He was so sad it was over. I'm sad too! It was really fun for Brayden to see all his friends on a regular basis. Here he is with Coach Wells and Coach Adams. We went to McDonald's and got the kids Happy Meals and ate at a near-by park. I got a couple cards and had everyone sign them--we all pitched in to give the coaches gift cards to Los Cabos.
Showing off our uniforms on the last day.

On Wednesday, we decorated for Taylor's birthday. Happy 31st honey! Brayden was proud of his ability to keep the balloon in the air with his head.
Unfortunately, Taylor didn't come home until 9:00pm. He had to go directly from work to a Young Men's activity, so the kids didn't get to see him on his birthday.

We did a water party for Brayden's last day on Friday. It rained, but we did it anyway. The kids loved the sprinklers and slip and slide and still ate their Popsicles. We did goodie-bags in sand buckets for each kid to take home.

Brayden taking a break from the action (and probably getting cold). I was surprised at how well he did--he ran through the sprinklers and had a great time. Last summer, he would have nothing to do with sprinklers.

Brayden with Mrs. Timmons. Mrs. Timmons had to borrow my garden hoses because the other homeroom moms (for the Kindergarten class) forgot there's. She promised to drop the hoses by my house at the end of the day. That was Friday and still no hoses. . .

On Saturday, we went out to eat at Cheddars and then went to see the new Indiana Jones movie with friends. Unfortunately, their babysitter called during the movie and said their son was throwing up, so they had to leave. To be perfectly honest, they didn't miss much. Not one of the best movies ever! It was fun to be out though, and dinner was great. Happy Birthday, again, Taylor!

Pictures from last week:

It's time for a new bike, one that is a little bigger. Good thing Brayden's birthday is coming up.

Last week at Emily's birthday party. Brayden is hitching a ride with Brady and Drew Heinig.

Happy Birthday Taylor! Wish we had been there to celebrate with you!

I hope you get your hoses back!
