Father's Day

It was good to be back home this week and settle into a routine. It took 4 whole days for Brayden and 7 whole days for Kylee to ask when we were going on the airplane again. They miss their family in Utah already.

Brayden started swim lessons this week. We enrolled him in a different school than last year and this school is much more aggressive. On the second day of class, they threw all the kids in from the diving board with a teacher in the water to catch them after they had gone completely under. Brayden was a bit traumatized. The next day the teacher wanted to do it again, but I intervened (I got yelled at, just a little). I walked with Brayden to the end of the board, we looked down and walked back.

The next day, I told Brayden that if he let me put him in gently from the diving board, we could go get a donut. So far, we have had two donuts days. I'll have pictures to share next week.

Enjoying the back yard.

Brayden and Memphis

Kylee made dad a tie for Father's Day.

Brayden made him a campfire with his hand prints.

Taylor's Father's Day dinner. Sausage, egg, cheese muffin. We had cantaloupe, too, just so we could pretend we were eating healthy.
