Brayden's 5 year birthday party

This week we had more swim lessons, which are going pretty much the same. We played hide-and go seek for FHE and I took everything out from under the bathroom sink and hid there. My neck sure hurt afterward.

The main even this week was Brayden's Birthday Party, which was scheduled to be outside at a splash pad. Unfortunately, it rained that day. We moved ther party to the bowling alley and had a great time.

The Cake

Setting up at the bowling alley.

The bowlers.

The kids all wore pirate hats.

This cake was really fun to make and pretty simple. I love to make my own frosting because it takes everyone by surprise that it isn't the store-bought kind they were expecting.

Presents!

A pirate's life for me.

Friends who came to Brayden's party:
Madi, Josh, Memphis, Hayden, Lauren, Katie, Dylan, Ella, Tyler, Owen, Cash, Laney

LOVE it! Do you have a specific frosting recipe that is easy to decorate with?

I love Brayden's cake. You should consider selling your cakes. (at least to your really good friends who are not so gifted at cake decorating:))
