Here is our final picture in Oklahoma. The American flag is sticking out of both back windows because we dropped it off to friends on the way out. Of course, it started to rain on the way over and we couldn't roll up the windows. Maybe it is was a omen.
Other than bathroom breaks, the only time the kids got out was at Mc Donald's in Roswell. (Did I mention they did an awesome job on this trip?) Rosewell is the town famous for seeing aliens and UFOs.
It appears they are very proud of this, as the inside of the play place was the inside of a UFO and the Mc Donald's characters were decked out in space gear. Here is Ronald.

Even the street lights had alien eyes on them--this isn't just McDonald's, this is all over town.

My friend lived in Roswell for a few years and I was always amazed by the alienness of it!
